| Hello All! SCYU had a great summer! We reached over 1000 students playing the sport of ultimate through programs with the parks departments and the LA84 Block Party. |

| If you’re looking to promote ultimate at your school let us know! Make sure to talk to administration and/or PE staff to see if they’d be willing to have us come in for a clinic or guidance on how to start a program. The key to starting a program is persistence! It’s the end of the school year so the perfect time to start prepping for next school year before schools are booked with programming! |

Girls Ultimate Pick-Up!GUAC, is the newest SCYU initiative to raise underrepresented genders in sports. We welcome everyone to participate in programs that they feel is best for them and want to personally reach out and encourage cis, trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, gender queer and any girl-identifying youth to join. Starting in September we will start having these community events monthly. So please sign up for “girls” pick-up below to get updates of future dates/times.
